Giorgio Armani cemented his status as a red-carpet go-to in the late 1980s (see: Diane Keaton and Michelle Pfeiffer), in part because his designs maintain a sleek modernity without tipping toward trendy. Armani's new foray into fine jewelry— a suite of 78 pieces, including the crisp brooches in onyx and diamond shown here—is fitting, given his penchant for enduring classics. Jewelry, he says, is "destined to last overtime."
