Bound Beauty

In 1980 teenager Benedikt Taschen opened a comic-book shop in his native town of Cologne, Germany. Nearly 30 years later Taschen is known for innovative, beautifully printed art books. This month, he opens his fifth shop, in Los Angeles. (6333 W. 3rd St.)
