So, with the help of Henri Kessler and a "hot investment team," he's about to unveil his contribution to New York nightlife. Location: a Romanesquerevival landmark that once housed the Grolier Club, the century-old society for bibliophiles. Readings, exhibitions, and fashion shows— plus drinking and dancing —will stimulate by-invitation-only members' minds and bodies. The doors of the no-name club will open early for after-work revelers; architect Mark Zeff devised the "sexy but austere interior—people's energy will dictate the atmosphere, not the decor." Energy is sure to be generated by the waitresses, poured into designer Claudia Herzog's skintight peekaboo dresses. Roll over, Grolier.
