Norman's Conquest
Landlubbin' Norman Mailer wowed an authorial academy (William Styron, Erica Jong, E. L. Doctorow, and the Johns—Irving and Updike) as Poets & Writers, Inc., celebrated its fifteenth anniversary with a bash at the Big Apple Circus.
